The only certain thing we can say about 2021 is that it will be uncertain. Market  access will be challenged. Previously successful product lines will  become obsolete or become otherwise undeliverable. Changes in the  socioeconomic climate of the world will make revenue forecasting in 2021  impossible.   The single essential skill emerging in the world  today for dealing with unprecedented challenges is adaptability – the  ability to pivot to unlock new and emerging opportunities. But  how is this skill built? What are the barriers and how can you mitigate  against the risks involved to emerge on the other side stronger? The fictional scenario forms the basis of the  discussion which steps through a process to unlock new market  understanding and opportunities and/or pivot a product and technology  platform.
