About the event
The AHSN NENC are launching a new Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Prevention Programme which will include the new national programme of Optimising Lipids and Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (FH).
This event will introduce delegates to work that will support the NHS Plan’s ambitions for cholesterol and FH. There will be a blend of presentations from national speakers and interactive workshop sessions, some of which will have a more clinical focus and others more managerial: there will be something for everyone in this 2.5hrs event. The event will be of particular interest to Health Care Professionals interested in Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) prevention, particularly dyslipidaemia and Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH), hypertension and Atrial Fibrillation (AF). This will include primary care practitioners (mostly GPs) as well as secondary care physicians such as lipidologists, SpRs, and specialist nurses. Other interested organisations are likely to be third sector and pharmaceutical industry, plus other AHSN staff across England.
